NaNoWriMo Day 16

Yes I'm posting again already for day 16 of NaNoWriMo since I won't be updating word counts for this book anymore.

Why not? Because... Drumroll please!

I AM DONE! That's right, I've finished the book as of 2:35pm my time today.

Here are the final meter bars for this book.

Versus 50K:

98655 / 50000 words. 197% done!

Versus 80K:

98655 / 80000 words. 123% done!

Against 100k:

98655 / 100000 words. 99% done!

Didn't quite make it to 100k, but the book is finished at this count and 100k was my high/best estimate when I realized I was going to blow past 80k before the book was completed.

No that's okay, I won't be using LJ much anymore.

I'm hoping to get this scifi m/m off to Total-e-Bound next month then I'm going to do some writing and then edit the entire 4 book Mercykill series and get it sent off.

It's with the beta reader, but he's been promising to get to it 'soon' for most of a month now. I'm thinking I'm going to have to find a different beta reader or it's never going to get done.

Wow, that sucks a lot (from a reader's perspective)...I (selfishly) wish I could help, so it could get out in publication faster, lol :-) I hope the situation will be handled quickly, Mika-san :-)

I hope so too. He's busy working on his own NaNo at the moment. Just hit 40k today, only started last weekend. I told him the book is due to be sent off next month--I actually have a publisher waiting on it--but he's too wrapped up in writing. I can't blame him for wanting to win NaNo, it's his first time even getting close.
